    Step 1

    Install the Android app and start your shift

    Download HGV Time Pilot from Google Play, sign in once with the same email and password you'll use on the web, and start your shift with one-tap mode changes — Driving, Other Work, POA, Break/Rest.

    • Live timer with audible heads-up before key EU 561 / WTD limits
    • Works largely offline; syncs automatically when you have signal
    • Same login on Android and web — no extra account to manage

    Step 2

    Capture driver-card data from the cab

    Plug a supported CCID smart-card reader into your Android device with USB-OTG, or pair a Bluetooth reader where available. The app guides you through compatible models so you don't waste a download.

    • .DDD / .V1B / .ESM / .TGD files captured straight from the card
    • Files feed the same compliance pipeline as the web dashboard
    • No second login, no email-yourself-the-file ritual

    Sign in on the web for the full compliance picture

    Open the web dashboard for the deep view: import dumps up to ~10 MB per file, see your day timeline, status, warnings and infringements, WTD reference periods and rest analysis on Pro, walkaround history, billing, and Time Pilot AI.

    • Plain-English status: OK to drive, approaching a limit, or take a break
    • 17- and 26-week WTD reference periods and night-work coverage on Pro
    • Walkaround records and downloadable reports kept against your account

    Move between app and web with deep links

    Where useful, links from the dashboard open straight into the Timer or Card Reader on Android. The two surfaces are designed to work together, not duplicate each other.

    • Open Timer or Card Reader on the device with one tap from the web
    • Status from the cab is visible on the dashboard the same shift
    • One billing relationship across both surfaces
